Afterwards consulted with a social worker, she wrote a "bucket list" (a list of things to do before he died). One of them was "I want to help a people in need".

Her social worker introduced the 'New Life Support Society' of the Maria Ward of the hospital in her desire to help young children who are her son's age. The New Life Support Society is a dedicated support group for hospice patients, operated by the International St. Mary’s Hospital, for hospice patients and families who lack social support.

She donated 5 million won to the new life support society, and the hospital held a donation ceremony on Thursday 8th at the Chapel of the International St. Mary’s Hospital. On that day, Maria ward nurses sing her a song "You were born to be loved." and thank her.

Kim Young-in, the head of the International St. Mary’s Hospital, said, "We are grateful for the difficult and precious decisions and will use her precious heart for the cost of living and care for the patient and the patient's young children”.

She said, “I thank the Maria Ward for helping me to have a good occasion, and it is not a big amount of money, but I hope it could help the children."

She has been hospitalized in the ward of Maria and her condition has been improved and she has recently moved to a regular ward to continue her battling with active treatment.
