Incheon Catholic Medical Center (Vice-President
Dr. Park Moon-seo) signed a business agreement with Korea Development
Bank(KDB) (Chairman Lee Dong-geol) to establish a medical technology
commercialization model and mutual cooperation at KDB 's IR center.
Through this business agreement, Incheon
Catholic Medical Center will provide the corporations
with the medical fundamental technology that is the foundation of the medical
commercialization business. KDB will act as an intermediary to match the medical institutions
with the corporations and attract investment. It will support the conversion of
the Incheon Catholic Medical Center to a commercialize
In addition, both institutions decided to
proceed with ▲ Identification of promising technologies for
commercialization and analysis and feasibility of business, ▲ Exchange of industry, technology and company information for
commercialization, ▲ Consulting of Industrial Bank to Incheon
Catholic Medical Center and its Technology Holding Company, ▲ Collaborative research and joint projects with companies
recommended by KDB.
Also, the two organizations will share the
mid- and long-term development strategies of the medical industry, while also
developing new technologies (products) through research and cooperation with
the big data of hospitals and technologies of external companies and research
institutes, and plans to expand new medical services.
This is a new concept model that
establishes subsidiaries in a joint-venture manner with external partner
